@jrnesbit you do realise before jumping on your high conspiracy horse that the technology has exsisted for some 60 years on both sides of the 'iron curtain' creating an earthquake is easy its all about letting off small but powerful explosions at key points where the plates are more 'fluid' nz being a perfect example as the whole island is built on a crusty layer sitting atop silt.
