Notice how not once did he talk to the enemy before going in and taking them out. He talked it over with an ally. As for the talk at the end, simply Hollywood theatrics. If the man wanted the gun and could've gotten to it he would have. Harry could've walked up, kicked out of reach and retrieved it. All that jaw jacking was just for entertainment. Not convinced in the least..
