Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident) - A Multitrack Collaboration

It is no real secret that Sonny Vande Putte is a phenomenal singer. Him and I have done a long tag collab in the past. For this song, I needed someone who could belt out the lead and not run out of wind halfway through. Sonny was the prime candidate for this.

This is a collab that was about 3 months in the making. I'm glad we took our time. It was not easy with the quick nature of the song to get timing right, but I think we got it right now. We hope you enjoy this full song as much as we are pleased to bring it to you.

Sonny recorded the lead, I used it to sing bass and tenor, and then send him those to learn bari. He mixed the audio from there and sent it back to me for video syncing. I edited the video and posted it.

The end product was so good, I punched him in the face

You did a pretty damn good job on this song. I'm grateful to hear something like this out of Youtube in this age. Don't usually hear people giving attention to the good old songs.

The only critical thing I have to say is that it didn't give off the 'auction' feel, which was always bursting at the seams with energy in previously recorded songs. But it's a nice little change of pace.
