The mere thought of giving a terrorist these rights in the hopes that they would fess up borders on either complete ignorance or stupidity, hopefully it is the latter. In fact it must be ignorance since the public's main source for information is a biased, untruthful media. Critics may try to say that they use varied sources to find the truth but in the end let's face the truth, there only seeing one side to the story.

Some critics of torture will argue that if we treat terrorists nicely they would give their interrogators the needed information.
