Very nice as usual, and respect and congratulations to all at the GCR who made it happen.
-
@paulsheldrake Nope, I work on the Mid-hants and thats normal sounding for her!
-
Thanks. The turntable is to be opened on Saturday, though it has already been used on 88.
-
The GCR is much flatter than the WSR; it will have much less chance to impress.

Fantastic as always Mike, nice to see the turntable nearing completion, and to think I was filming and travelling behind 88 on Sunday at the WSR....Bob

was it me or was the spam can missing a beat leaving quorn? or is that how they sound anyway....

@paulsheldrake
I think that is how they are meant to sound. It is a kind of syncopation. There are some who would equate the sound to Stravinsky's greatest works, but they don't come from around these parts.

@SuperWHIZZO
Visits of spamcans to the GC are rare; I was pleased I had the opportunity to film one. I remember a Bluebell event where there were 4 of them...a quiet day indeed.
