"So, it's quite safe to say I'm better than most people at Giga Wing. "
A little modesty never hurt anyone.

Haha....yeah. Takes me back....
The game was 19xx, the plane was Sinden, and the Boss on the rails was called Sancho Pedro.

Long time ago but yep, it was 19xx.
Loved that "briefing" music before every stage.
Awesome game.

Raiden Fighters or 19xx, possibly?

I don't know for sure, but I might have listened to the first notes in the boss theme smoewhere. A D.J. friend of mine said it comes from a "Sugarcubes" song, but couldn't tell me which one. Anybody here knows something about it?

@xristo702: the game you wrote about (the one with the huge tank that rolled on traintracks) probably is Capcom's "19XX - The War Against Destiny". The tank (named "Sancho Pedro") is the fifth stage's boss -- and is pretty hard to blow up! -- (at least for me, that is!)
Do you know if there is a way to play it on computer?

Emulators. I use MAME (EK-MAME, a Korean version is what I used to record this). There's other arcade emulators like Raine or Final Burn Alpha, too.

Awesome skills...I came across this vid while looking for another MAME shooter but for the life of me I can't remember what its called.
It had a WW2 aesthetic and the plane you flew had a propeller at the back of the plane (instead of the front). There was also a stage where you blew up a huge tank that rolled on traintracks. Any ideas?

Sounds like Strikers 1945 to me.
