What marionics system is that?

one can only hope the OB went back on.... to much stern weight and drive height was to low

@marshan162 Good luck but turning all that horsepower through two right angles was always a bit iffy and high maintenance. For racing there are now some amazing shaft drives. ZF do a superb surface drive with what looks like a CVJ in it. It can be trimmed up and down and steered as well! Cost is probably telephone numbers. Lancing Marine do a simpler version.

It looks as if there is too much weight on the stern. I had a ski-boat like that,, it had a Mercury straight 6 100HP on the back. Some boat builders built boats with extended hulls. Sponsons were added a couple of feet either side of the outboard to reduce the stern squatting, maybe you could do the same. I thought those Steyrs were supposed to be light!

Very nice! What is the displacement and horsepower? Are you using 1.5 ratio Bravo One? Do you notice the extra weight?
I am getting ready to build up my GM 6.5 liter turbodiesel and install it in my 21 foot boat with 1.5 Alpha One.
