anyone ever hear Ian Page and Dave Cairns' punk/pop band New Hearts? "Just Another Teenage Anthem" is great...

@traceymod While what you say is true Tracey, it doesn't really relate at all to what I pointed out. Whether or not he was playing with them before he became a full time member is irrelevant, as he definitely wasn't playing with them in May 1979, which suggests that you're wrong about when the TV show was broadcast. And more than that, the TV series didn't even start until the end of September 1979 - so it couldn't have been May. Chris Gent was their occasional sax player at that time I think.

@traceymod - if this was May 1979, why is Dave Winthrop playing sax? Didn't he join later? And the TV programme 'Friday night Saturday Morning' didn't actually go on air for the first time until September 28, 1979 according to Wikipedia and they list Secret Affair's appearance as October 5, in episode 2, along with Willie Rushton, John Wells, Arianna Stassinopoulos, Emma Soames, Gerard Kenny, Jimmy Pursey and Antonia Fraser. Are you going to upload the Pursey/Page interview?

SECRET AFFAIR pIay The Picturedrome, HoImfirth, near HuddersfieId, Nov 28th!
@Mega2020vision While Winthrop joined later he was in fact a guest player with the beand many times before. He became known as the 5th member of the band much later but was already playing with them before this was made official.
For all history on the band visit the official site secretaffair.info which is created by me with the bands input and endorsement.

@afcfan75 thanks but my description already tells everyone the details and it was originally broadcast in May actually-see above. I also have the interview with Ian Page and Jimmy Pursey which is brilliant.
