It was reported recently that the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas quit her position and joined a group of Christians praying outside that very clinic. This is encouraging to those in the Pro-Life circles, that one of the high-rankers in the Pro-Choice ring can turn around like that. It's like "Dances with Wolves"... but with babies! But it is also a reminder to Christians that "our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against... the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm." In other words, that's why we are to love our enemies - because our fellow man is not our real enemy, the Deceiver is! And it is in this instance that we see the validity of who/how we should be fighting. It's good to have you with us, Abbey Johnson!
Abbey Johnson:
Hey there, Abby Johnson!
Have you come to say hello?
Have you come to run us off,
like a hundred times before?
We see you at the window,
where you watch us every week.
The unarmed threat
to woman's choice and babies' death.
But that's not your job,
so are you really guilt free?
Or is that the trick,
what makes you toss and turn and wish?
Well that's okay, 'cause we're here for you
just as much as we are for them.
We know your name,
and we've mentioned you to Him.
Hey there, Abby Johnson!
There's a tear in your eye.
You're coming out to meet us.
Something's different this time.
Is it something that He said,
or have your nightmares come true -
when planned parenting
replaced responsibility;
and what you thought was hope,
you've suddenly come to rue.
The world will let you down,
and sometimes turn you around.
But that's just fine, 'cause He died for you
just as much as He did for them.
He knows your name,
and you matter to Him.
Hey there, Abby Johnson!
What's that twinkle in your eye?
Have you come to join us here
asking for love and life?
Grace and mercy
conquer all, and free the slaves.
The blind are made to see,
and the strong are made weak.
Well, He broke your heart
of stone, and opened wide the gate
for all who are tired
and sick of all the liars.
Praise God, He answered our prayers;
we were hoping to see you soon.
And in due time,
they'll see He loves them too.
mr. faithman1000 - I hate to be cliche and quote our own song, but apparently you missed it. "He died for you just as much as He did for them. He knows your name, and you matter to Him." There's justice and there's mercy, THANK GOD!
