@redringer8 i wasnt intending to show off. i was trying to say that i had only been doing poi for 3 weeks and hes a good teacher because i learned how to do this in a really short amount of time. ass hole.

Are sock poi even useful i have flowtoys and glowsticks but not really sure if socks give a learning curve care to shed any light?

I think the more correct term would be "in-swung" because inverted implies a slightly more specific move-set. Great tutorial though, keep it up.

Yeah, I'm probably inclined to agree with you, as "inversions", while refering to movements inside the arms, generally involve having the arms crossed also, but even "in-swung" could be confusing, as I've heard the term (and "in-spin/spun" used to describe the portion of the rotation where the poi is coming towards the body, even if the poi is on the outside of the arms. It's kinda hard to describe in words, and would be so easy to show you, but hopefully you get the idea.

I've even heard the inside of the arms called "negative space", but I think that refers to something more specific also. I think I'm just going to say "inside the arms" from now on, it's longer, but hey, at least there's less room for confusion.
