yes it does have a speaker, you can hear the sound of the videos you record in LZ8.

My LS80S also didnt have zoom in motion picture. Bad. Does LZ8 have speaker, or you must connect to the PC to hear sound on movie recorded with LZ8?

I tried this at Big Lot's and it didn't zoom in the motion picture mode. Is it supposed to do that, or is that feature not available for this camera?
