Stark asks Rush when deficits matter

George Bush ran huge deficits. It got to be so bad that he "hid" the war funding using some off-budget shenanigans to paper over how bad things were.

All teh while, Limbaugh and the rest of his merry band were cheering Bush on and militating for additional tax cuts (as opposed to insisting that the budget be balanced and the war be paid for).

Now that Repubilcans are in charge (in Wisconsin at least), Limbaugh and the boys are all for charging taxpayers more to cover the cost of their benefits and pensions.

So what do we have? When it comes to raising taxes on the wealthiest, Rush is radically opposed. When it comes to increasing costs for middle class workers like teachers... Well... Rush says the budget should be balanced upon their backs.

@HereinLasVegas actually, when people woke up and voted for dems in 06 and 08 we won both the house and the senate in HUGE numbers and the presidency by a 7 point margin.
