Forty Shades of Grey (Israel/Palestine)
The aim of this project is to create an experimental, feature-length, non-narrative film piece, shot on location in Israel and Palestine. There seems to be some very black and white ideas when people think of these areas; however this film seeks to explore the forty shades of grey in between the black and the white. Recent film projects have employed a similarly experimental and non-narrative approach to very contentious issues; an issues which usually tends to be dealt with in a very traditional, documentary-style fashion.

Directed by Nicky Larkin
Produced by Gary Hoctor

The feature will be released in 2012

Funded by The Irish Arts Council
