  • It's good luck, and very heartening, that we have capable, thoughtful and practical people like Ed Luck working to halt the kind of murderous repression that the terrorist dictator Ghadafi was carrying out against his own people. And when persuasion failed, the UN, with wide support -- from NATO, the US and many Arab countries, successfully helped the Libyan people overthrow Ghadafi. Highly effective action --and absolutely the right thing to do.
