New York's Museum of Modern Art ads the @ symbol to its design collection.

An enlightened view of acquisition that would never occur to a Ferengi.

How can a thousand-year old symbol be considered modern design?

Thanks to Glenn Lambert for calling this to my attention.

  • I posted this video to a friend's Facebook page. He's an art enthusisast, and I thought he might get a kick out of the subject matter and you, mickeleh. I didn't know exactly how he'd react because he can be a bit prickly at times. (He loathes so-called installations and performance art.) But he loved your video. I was very pleased.

  • @garyfromwv40 I once heard Laurie Anderson say in an interview that any art tha includes the word "art" in its name is not art. (And Anderson is usually described as a performance artist). Thanks for spreading the word.

  • I'm going to acquire the entire comment section.

  • @fluroescence wise choice. And funny, too.

  • *******CORRECTION****: It's not DARPAnet mickeleh... Its actually ARPAnet.... Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency or DARPA just happened to be funding the project...

  • @LARPSC Thanks for that.
