This clip takes you through the primary differences between coaxial style RC helicopters such as the Double Horse 9053 or 9101 and fixed pitch single blades models like the Double Horse 9100 and 9104.

Coaxial RC helicopters have counter-rotating main blades and are great for beginners because of their quite stable flight. The rear rotor allows the helicopter to move forward and backwards by tilting the direction of primary trust in either direction. Single blade fixed pitch RC helicopters on the other hand have just one set of blades as the name suggests, and a vertically oriented tail rotor to compensate for the rotation of the helicopter.
