Gameplay from the so expected ME2 sequel of the first ME game. This one impressed me with the awesome graphics and the tremendously optimized configuration.A great variety of quests and places to go,many missions and puzzles, this game has a bit of everything to keep you occupied.Definately recommended for everyone even to the ones that don't appeal in these kind of games.

All settings are maxed at a resolution of 1920x1080 and recording with FRAPS.
FPS with and without FRAPS were capped at ~60(VSync,which isn't given as an option to be disabled in the configuration settings).

My current specs are:
Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz@OC ~3.83Ghz on Xigmatek Dark Knight S1283V Air Cooler

L&C 600W Power Supply Unit

GPU:SAPPHIRE RADEON TOXIC HD4870 512MB DDR5 PCI-E BULK OC at 850 Vcore and 1090 Mem.

RAM:G.SKILL F2-8500CL5D-2GBPK DDR2 4GB (2X2GB) CL5 PC8500 1066MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT

1xWD 360GB,1xWD 640GB HDD

  • Did you do forced AA, or does the game seriously look that good at 1920x1020 resolution? I can only do 1650x1080, and there's a very noticeable performance drop when I force AA with CCC. :( The jagged edges makes my eyes hurt...

  • @yuggothian No i didn't as a matter of fact i don't even use CCC just Afterburner for my OC.This is just the game by itself and it seriously looks great at this resolution almost like with AA enabled. Are you also with a 4870 and you get drops by forcing AA?

  • @SpawnKill057 I've got ATI Radeon HD 4870 x2, so I guess that means it's two cards running together or something? Yeah, I get drops when I force AA, and it's very annoying :( Afterburner? Is it a program for overclocking?

I'll be getting a new monitor with higher resolution later this year though, so it's really great to see how good this game looks just by amping it up to a higher res. :) Nice of you sharing this vid.

  • @yuggothian Yes your card is two of the kind i'm using in this video.Didn't counter any problems even when i tried to force AA but it is said that the game has some issues on 2 or more cards so that might be the problem.MSI Afterburner is indeed a very handy overclocking program, where you can also see your cards temps etc.For now you can temporarily play the game windowed, which i know is not the same gaming experience as fullscreen, but at least the edges will be corrected...

  • My 512 mb 4670 plays this game maxed out with frames steady at 50 and above, and for the movies where the illusive man pop up drops down to 30 for some reason. Force on AA in CCC, put it on 24x samples with edge detect on and see if it gets choppy. Put on adaptive AA on quality if you want to bring it further, then go onto the world where you help jack. My system bogged down to 9 fps in the rain right in the beginning with 8x box AA and adaptive AA on.

  • I'll get this game next thursday! Yeah! :)

  • LOL! :D
