Attack is a bit of a stretch. The security guard's need to create a fire exit is a matter of public safety. You have no right to create fire hazards in a public building. I do agree that the security guard lost his cool, absolutely. Still, I think you guys are going about this the wrong way. If you continue on your blagerent path you will get no where and you will be forcefully removed. Violence will only give Kerrey and Murtha more fuel for their continued fire of destruction. Think about it.

I am a graduate of the New School, graduated in 2008. I am no where near a rich kid..The problem is you are so dumb and ignorant that you do not even realize that to attend an institution of higher learning the main thing that is required is brains not wealth.

WRONG! It is true that Bob Kerrey's SEAL team snuck into VietCong camps in the middle of the night and he slit the throats of our ENEMIES. IF you had been with him, you would have been lucky. He lost a leg and risked his life to save his team and received a Congressional Medal of Honor. Robert Kerrey...IS A HERO.

You sound jealous because your dumb ass probably couldnt survive in an academic setting. These Students have every right to demand the highest standards from their school. We pay a great deal in tuition, I personally am still paying off loans, The New School has not met even the least of these demands! Finally those so called clowns you call security guards are to busy trying to pick up the girls that attend the school, these clowns can not even be called security guards.

you want a man to lose his job with the economic crisis going on today i witnessed the whole event those students assaulted security members and later that night they broke doors and windows and allowed people fromthe street to runa round the building and a few of these idiots were smoking weed and drinking malt liquor while they are supposed to be non violent. this takeover accomplished nothing buildings were closed early and other hard working students suffered because of these fake radicals

Unfortunately that is exactly what happened. Students were occupying the back doorway and access to the street, and police attempted to remove protesters. That is where this video begins, with the police trying to push and force students back, not with the students pushing or "attacking" anyone, as was claimed by President Kerrey later that night!
