Breaking the Habit | Dark Doctor

Right...

Well this video is very umm.. overdue. It was meant to come out after Waters of Mars as it's idea is based on the episode or parts of it at least. I kinda went astray with many other different videos and never actually got around to finishing it. I had to slap myself and force myself to finish it. I have overcome my vidders block! And this is my first proper video of 2010!

Okay, I argued with myself on about what to write about this.. Should I let you interpret it's meaning or tell you? I love hearing your theories and not the entire video is fixed on a key plot. Well, here's a small hint; this video is mainly about the idea at the end of Waters of Mars where the Doctor changes his ways and breaks the laws of time, he's "breaking his habit" of letting people die and letting history run its course correctly. If you don't want to interpret it that way, you don't have to,

This is wonderful - I love the darkness of it, I love the way you've portrayed him almost as a villian, and the way that the darkness has really begun to take him over.

I'm also a huge fan of the newspaper effect here - which is something I've never been able to master, so there's a bit of jealous in there as well.

I personally preferred Ten, and I think this video shows why. I think that as time passed, there were moments when you looked into the expression of Ten and got a sense of the true age and experience of the Doctor, the Power of the Time Lords, and near the end of David's tenure, the fury that exists beneath the surface.

Oh I LOVE this so much. I am particularly fond of the Dark Doctor, especially with 10 because he does it so well. The effects were MARVELLOUS and I am so jealous of your skill!
