Operation Christmas Box Project

I mentioned in the video that we are going to the circus. I won those tickets from GRKids.com It is a website for local events and happenings here in the Grand Rapids area in Michigan. So if you or anyone you know lives here in GR please take the time to check them out.

We are in need of the following items to fill decorated shoe boxes to send out to children around the world who would otherwise not have any gifts for Christmas. We are trying to get a jump start on this project so that we can get as much help as possible to reach out to as many children as possible.

This is how you can help: We need donations for shoe boxes, wrapping paper and decorations for shoe boxes. We are raising money (approximatly $7.00) per box to help with shipping.

These are some of the items that we are collecting:

Toys- small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, plastic kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, small etch A Sketch, toys that light up or make noise (With batteries) Slinky, or any type of nonviiolent item.

School Supplies: pens, penciles and sharpener, crayons, flashlights (With batteries) markers, stamps and stamp pads, coloring books, writing pads or paper and solor caculators, ect.

Hygiene Items: Toothburshes, toothpaste, bars of soap, combs, brushes, washcloths ect.

Other: Hard candy, lollipops, mints, gum, sunglasses, ball caps, socks, t-shirts (in childrens sizes through teens) toy jewelry sets, hair clips, watches, small picture books ect.

The cut off date for this project is November 1st. I am doing my best to help & give and thought it a nice idea to share with you all here. Of course questions can be put in the comments or directed to me in email at backfrommilkyway@yahoo.com or in a PM here on YouTube!

I may try and out a bit of a spin on this and see if I can make some & give them away to people who need help like we do and such.
