Review of the Rossi Ranch Hand Handgun

This is a lever action HANDGUN, it is not a rifle or an SBR. Feel free to check with the ATF as to why it is not an SBR... I go into that a little bit in the video.

It weighs 4lbs, has a 12" barrel and the overall length is just under 24". The gun is available in .44 mag, .45 Colt and .38 special & .357 magnum and has a 6+1 capacity. The recoil is surprisingly low, but that probably is due to its weight. The heft is also what makes it tiring to shoot with one hand, and two hands somehow did not feel right to me. I would not recommend this gun for home/self defense, but it is a LOT of fun to shoot and it's quite the conversation starter.

Not only is this gun really high on the cool factor scale, but you can do a "flip cock" with it like you see Ah-nold do in T2. While I think that doing that with the gun loaded is foolish and potentially dangerous, flipping it like that (unloaded) is still seriously cool!

@sprofitt777 - there is nothing to debate - the government defines it as a HANDGUN. You can call it what you want, but it is a handgun, you saying otherwise does not make it so. Sorry...

@AmendmentNo2 The government also classified a piece of string as a machine gun once, and just declared a certain brand of steel wool to be a suppressor.

It is "Technically" a handgun by legal definition, but really we both know its a carbine.

wasted materials- The loop ring makes working th action slower, Cut down the capacity from 10 rounds to 6 and shooting .45 colt rounds has a pistol will effect the accuracy. You want a pistol buy a pistol You want a lever riflle then buy one.....Let me load aanother 6 and try again. This gun is a joke
