@OvercomeBingeEating Thank you for all your support! I recognize so many aspects of your other video's as well. This really helps me and I know it helps many others who are struggling. Seeing you, hearing your support - it gives us hope. I'm soon to check out your website!

I find eating regular, SATISFYING and nutritionally based foods have kept me on track for nearly 3 months now. I've not really put on any weight despite allowing myself to eat like a "normal" person. Because I'm satisfied and not 'starving' between meals, I hardly ever think about food inbetween meals now like I did before. It's amazing how this actually works. I never would have believed that my recovery has come down to such a simple solution. A satisfied tummy =satisfied emotional state.

I'm glad that this vid helped.
But remember its not really about the weight. Its about solving the problems that caused the weight gain/binge eating in the first place.

This video helped me alot. I struggle with binge eating everyday. I wish i could be normal! Im tryen to lose weight but its so hard. Im on a diet for a few days then binge:(. So im always up a few lbs, then down a few pounds. Im really ready to do the christmas challenge. I think doing it with other ppl will make this alot easier! Thank you!
I don´t think it´s possible to overcome any eating disorder. It´s like any other addiction. I have both anorexia and food addiction behind me. But then I turned more and more in to alcohol and now I´m an alcoholic. I realized that if I only could get a few beers inside me I didn´t have to think of food.
It was like paradise. But the only thing that really happened is that I just change my addiction from one thing to another.
I think it´s like: "Once an addict...Always an addict..."

@grimlund I believe that whenever a person finds themselves 'switching to another addiction' its because they haven't dealt with whatever is under the surface. Its scary to feel instead of becoming numb (with any addiction)... but it worked for me. I wish you all the best on your journey.

IS it really wrong that I follow a complete diet while trying to fix the problem. CAuse I just feel lost of I don't know what to eat. The liberty of it kind of scares me. Also my tummy hurts all the time becuse of my gastritis so I have to be really careful? Will it be much harder if I follow a not so strict diet?

@gravesofqueens If you suffer from gastritis... it is important that you keep that in mind while you recover. If it requires you to stay away from certain foods; then that is a choice you will have to make. You can choose to eat foods that help or choose to eat foods that irritate your stomach. We always have choices. In the end; you will know what is right for you and what is not. Listen to your intuition and you'll make wonderful progress.

Thank you for this video. For all of your video's! I just subscribed, I can really use this extra support. I'm seeing a therapist for my binge eating. Still, I'm just making tiny tiny bits of progress... Sometimes I wish it would go faster because the weight is very much bothering me as well. It seems like such a long way to go, first I need to stop binge eating completely and only after that I can finally start going towards a comfortable weight...

@MissMLgirl You are making 'tiny bits of progress'.. CONGRATULATIONS! Permanent changes take place because of baby steps. Whether it feels like it or not... you are doing just fine. It never happens all at once... be patient with yourself and remember that each step you take brings you closer to peace with food.
