True Grit hits theaters on December 25th, 2010.

Cast: Hailee Steinfeld, Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Barry Pepper, Paul Rae

Fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross's (Hailee Steinfeld) father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshal, Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), she sets out with him - over his objections - to hunt down Chaney. Her father's blood demands that she pursue the criminal into Indian territory and find him before a Texas Ranger named LeBoeuf (Matt Damon) catches him and brings him back to Texas for the murder of another man.

Such an awesome movie...I've watched it like four times. It got me on a modern western kick and I ended up watching one recently called Good for Nothing that I loved. Shot in New Zealand it's reminiscent of the old spaghetti westerns but also startlingly fresh and new. True Grit fans will love it. goodfornothingmovie(dot)com

When I saw this trailer I thought True Grit was going to be one of the best films of the year. I was not disappointed.

@terratrema I actually love Burn After Reading. Didn't at first, but the characters grew on me after a second viewing. I'd say Intolerable Cruelty is their weakest film, if such a word had to be branded on any of them.
