True Grit hits theaters on December 25th, 2010.

Cast: Hailee Steinfeld, Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Barry Pepper, Paul Rae

Fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross's (Hailee Steinfeld) father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshal, Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), she sets out with him - over his objections - to hunt down Chaney. Her father's blood demands that she pursue the criminal into Indian territory and find him before a Texas Ranger named LeBoeuf (Matt Damon) catches him and brings him back to Texas for the murder of another man.

Well, at least here they give Hailee Steinfeld a proper introduction. She was absolutely entrancing in this film; stole every scene she was in. She should have won that Oscar...

There are some instances where the trailer surpasses the film itself, and this is one of those situations for me. This is not to say that I didn't like the film, because I did. I am a huge fan of all of the Coen brothers' work, and I hold this film in high regard, but after two years and having watched this trailer numerous times, it still gives me goosebumps.
