Taiwan 2011 - Coast, Mountains, Killing fish

Finally managed to get something through the firewall ;) Here we hit some of the nicest coastal roads and mountains on the way to Jiu Fen, we find an awesome waterfall, visit a small seaside village and see some very interesting things along the way

look at that bike, lol, reminds me of the old days... good times, love the videos. Also been researching some of the things seen or mentioned, like the Chinese burial customs, very interesting. "It seems the better the view, the better the location is to bury and venerate one’s ancestors, thereby offering greater help for the deceased." Worth looking into.

How long did it take you to do this particular leg of your trip? You left from Taipei to Jiu Fen and back to Taipei. Did you do this all in one day?

Glad to see you were able to upload still, i appreciate it your trouble. The waterfall and mountain landscape were amazing, really beautiful. I'm visiting Taiwan sometime this year, probably around July, i can't wait! They had buses going up mountains like that when i lived in Inca, Mallorca as well, the skill (or lack of care) of the drivers never ceased to amaze me haha.

wow,, what a nice adventure u had,, i spent 2 years in taiwan,, but never did enough travelling with a scooter or motorcycle,,, mostly just city driving,, always wanted to spend a whole summer exploring the island,,, maybe someday when the kids are a bit older i can do it with them,, good luck serpentza
