Early Morning

My girlfriend and I have started making songs on Garage Band and this is the first one we've made. I compiled the music while she provided the lyrics. The latter are taken from a poem she made awhile back, recounting her trip to uni in the morning (she lives in HK). The video is a clip from New Years in Copenhagen earlier this year. Here are the words to the poem, which is titled "Early Morning":

pink petal slightly trembling
shoes, footsteps, bags
bread and fast food
concrete, sewage drain, water pipes
pastel painting of the school
lines of people making the sound of
octopus cards
breakfast of vitasoy and bread or phonecalls
curly hair, colorful clothes
youth, suitcases of wisdom and knowledge
flyers and folders and bibles and textbooks and ads and banners and slogans and signs and notices and
insiders outsiders in and out groups and groups
people late for school but no bus
no line and no time and no exhaust fume
