@blackshirej I know what you mean one fried a young water dragon a couple years ago becuase it stuck it's face in the Exo-Terra water fall opening where the fogger sits
-
u want a good fogger go get u a ultrasonic vapor humidifier and put tubes in the outlet ...works great with a timer
-
He's just doing a bit of problem-solving like any good Tokay: "What is this new thing, and how can I bite it?".
-
this is hilarious

i would buy a humidifier. right now you can find them for about the same price you spend on this fogger.
buy some pool or vaccume hose and use this to direct fog.

@UpTownSniper I bought mine for 50% off when our Petland was going out of business, but you should be able to find them on most sites that sell reptile/amphibian supples... I'd try HerpSupplies or ThatPetPlace (both end in dot com).

What a cutie!!! my tokay's were getting very skinny, they weren't eating so i bought some medicine for them today... i hope they get better soon!! ilike your setup.. how big is the tank?

They were in a 30 gallon in that video...I just have one tokay now and he's in a large Exoterra display tank now. 20-30 gallon...can't remember which. Good luck with getting your tokays eating again... JumpStart can often help (or at least it'll give them some calories) until you can get the source treated.
Check out my website if you have any questions bout reptiles... it's just HerpFamily (dot com). I've got a set of forums there with some pretty awesome members.

They're great if you happen to have the perfect place for them but they heat the water and they make a small jet of water that vibrates ultrasonically, which feels like electricity to touch. if your reptile gets to close it could get badly hurt or die. those should be hidden in a place they cant get to which makes them hard to refill, but safe. fog is great for humidity and looking cool, so i recommend the Zoo Med Repti Fogger version that sits outside with a hose that the fog goes through.

Yeah, I agree with all but one point...they don't heat the water at all, but man it sure feels like fire when you're stupid enough to put your finger near the wafer piece while it's running. As long as you prevent them from getting within 2 inches of the wafer, you're safe I found out. So what many people do is put mesh over top of it or make a hole in the lid large enough for the jet of water to fit through but small enough that the herp can't get too close.
