natural hair- Moisturizing Routine

Add me on Facebook: Selina de Cordova. I wanted to show what my hair is like.... especially the next day after its washed which is when its the most dry!..but is also more afro so you could see .. how effective and important it is adding moisture to the natural hair ^^

Some examples of water based moisturizers are:

Soft N free
Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Oil
Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in
Profectiv Anti-Tangle Leave-in
Profectiv Mega Growth
Cantu Shea Butter Grow Strong
Elasta QP Mango Butter
Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in

Natural oils are the best bet. Jojoba and coconut oil are great oils

Thanks so much for uploading these videos--they are so inspirational! I've got natural hair but I always blow it out and straighten it...but I want to start wearing it like yours! Do you apply product at all right after you wash it? Or do you wait for the next day to do it, and then go on to plait your hair every night after that? And how often do you wash your hair? Thanks for everything! ^^

@Peanutscanbedynamite If I dont apply a moisture lotion straight after washing..my hair feels dry! so moisturizing is important for me! i only braid my hair out after washing my hair..because my hair would just be a VERY tangled,knotted, curled up afro lol ! after that I do a very loose high bun on my head and wrap it up! I wash my hair once a week...no probs thanks for your support ^_^

@Peanutscanbedynamite yeah I do apply my moisture lotion after its washed..like staright away whilst my hair is wet/very damp..and then I braid it out...the next day this is what it looks like! Even though the next day my curls have all come out and its allot more afro/frizzy .....for me its important it feels soft and not dry! ..what Im doing in the video is what I do to just get my curls back aswell as just giving my hair moisture again. :))
