The Nature Conservancy was founded in 1951 at the Mianus River Gorge Preserve in Westchester, New York. Since then, more than 1 million members have protected more than 119 million acres of land and 5,000 miles of rivers worldwide — and we operate more than 100 marine conservation projects globally. Hear Bill Ulfelder talk about how the Conservancy has grown from a grassroots effort to a global conservation leader.
