  • @alf56uk

Vibes in Bury! Oh the road to penury! I used to call in on my way home from London to Rossie and left completely broke even before I got home! I must have fingered every lip of every record...there's a lot to learn in that!

  • I'm 48 now and still remember all the words to this EP..I must still have it somewhere...brill

  • Ha ha. Nice one. Me and our kid were remembering snatches of these songs in the car the other day causing much merriment. Great to hear them again after all these years. I used to have this ep many years ago. Dont know what happened to it but cheers for putting a smile on my face.

  • Found a very old cassette with a few of his songs which were from a friends vinyl.

Decided to take a break and check it out on YouTube. What memories! What a find.

  • Remember going into Vibes in Bury and having to decide between buying this record or 'I'm Bored' by The Snivelling Shits - made the right decision, this is still fantastic now

  • Yes , thank you. I can remember seeing JD perform on Revolver? a weird pop show introduced by Peter Cooke and then dragging my dad 2 HMV Oxford St which was near Bond Street tube to finally get my hands on a copy. Still know all the lyrics even thought I haven't played t for 20 years

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. Been looking for this for the last thirty years (although obviously not looking very hard as not found it before now) - first heard this during my basic training in the Army 1978 / 1979.
