dude!! i had a dog that opened all of her xmas gifts alone. we were asleep and she went out and opened ALL of hers... and didnt touch anyone elses!! and its understandible thats she opened a box of milkbones, but she even opened her NEW COLLER!! HOW DID THE LITTLE SPANIEL DO IT?

My dog does this every Christmas, he lays by the tree and waits for us to give him permission, heaven forbid if we tease him with one, or just touch it when he's watching. Then he becomes obsessed and we have to put it away. We LOVE this tradition.

Geat job! Theres a lot of dogs that can open presents. A lot goes with breed type, my Cairn x has no problem, Iv had a gsd x collie, and a lab that could but the Lurcher and another terrier x coudlnt.

Maybe she's seen you open presents, and she picked up on it just by watching. That's just my guess. :) Apparently, Santa Claus was good to her!
