Just some thoughts on breaking other parts in on a 1911 45 acp! The M1911 is a single-action, semi-automatic, magazine-fed, and recoil-operated handgun chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. John M. Browning designed the firearm which was the standard-issue side arm for the United States armed forces from 1911 to 1985. The M1911 is still carried by some U.S. forces. It was widely used in World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Its formal designation as of 1940 was Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911 for the original Model of 1911 or Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1 for the M1911A1, adopted in 1924. The designation changed to Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1 in the Vietnam era.[1] In total, the United States procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols in military contracts during its service life. The M1911 was replaced by the M9 pistol as the standard U.S. sidearm in the early 1990s, but was retained by USMC MEU(SOC) units where it is still in service.

The M1911 is the best-known of John Browning's designs to use the short recoil principle in its basic design. Besides the pistol being widely copied itself, this operating system rose to become the preeminent type of the 20th century and of nearly all modern centerfire pistols. It is popular with civilian shooters in competitive events such as USPSA, IDPA, International Practical Shooting Confederation, and Bullseye shooting. Compact variants are also popular civilian concealed carry weapons, because of the design's inherent slim width and the power of the .45 ACP cartridge.

  • Actually, I found this video to not be boring. I thought it informative, and humorous in part., so I gave it a thumbs up. I've seen a lot worse gun videos on this YouTube, buddy.

  • @brentfoto Yea i knew it was somewhat stupid but i really didn't care! Lol

  • talking about breaking a gun in that you have never shot..........you have talked more about the safety that you should be able to work.....this was dumb as shit

  • @cookaus Lmao! I have shot this gun many times! I think the video was to hard for you to understand! What i was saying was make sure all the parts work smoothly! In a time if you would need it and they don't your screwed! The safety was very tight on this 1911 and i had to keep using it to make it run like glass. Sorry the video was to much for you! That is all..!

  • @DaffyduckNZ I've owned Colts, Springfields, and Remingtons. They are all based on the 1911, that doesn't make them colts. Do you ever look at a Remington AR15 and say "Hey man, that's a nice Colt M16"?, all weapons are based on something, that doesn't make them a manufactured by someone else. I'm an Armoror so every brand and every model makes a world of difference. And this particular 1911 is very loosely based on the 1911. I would rather take a GI model Colt, Springer, or Remington any day.

  • @itsamemario333 true that still based on the colt 1911 though

  • Sounds like a REDNECK!

    CAUSE HE IS

    (oh snap...)

  • @DaffyduckNZ That's a Springfield...

  • @G3TGh0sT You're an idiot. You don't know what is obsolete or not until you've used it on the battlefield. 1911's have withstood over a hundred years of service and are still used to this day by only the best in the military, like seals, spec ops, and Force Recon. Sig is an imported piece of shit that just sends them of the shelves by the thousands now that they've made a name for themselves.

  • @G3TGh0sT 1911's are not obsolete but if that is what you think then fine. Quit being a hater! If someone likes 1911 over X or vice versa... Let them share their opinion on what THEY like! If everybody liked the same thing the world would be fucking awful!

  • got me some viagra for my gun

  • @whoremonkey15 the exact same thing I thought. If your a little bitch and have to "break in the gun" because the grip on the slide hurts your hand then you need to grow a pair and work with your hands more.
