Scatman Crothers is "Big Ben," the role Crothers will be forever known in those outrageous red longjohns (i.e. the whorehouse john that Billie Holiday/Diana Ross refused to go to bed with in the most memorable comedic film scene) and brought to life in the Academy Award nominated film, "Lady Sings The Blues."
