M3 Translation - Flint vs. Mischievous Mole

Some good strides have been made with hacking various battle-related things, and I thought it'd be nice to let people see it in action rather than still pics.

Most notable fixes are that character names don't get erased at the bottom anymore, and that battle text prints better. Compare this with the previous battle video ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=zhiMfd0jKJI )to see the difference.

chugg - I accidentally deleted your comment, but the current battle text is old smelly stuff from before the project merge. The final version will use battle text we translated from scratch last week or so.

NOA doesn't seem to be bringing Mother 3 to the US anytime soon, so they're making a fan translation.

The cave sound sounds almost the same as EarthBound (maybe the same on Mother 1+2)

Oh I remember this cave, it's right before that robot deer thing... D; It took me four tries to beat it...

It's possible, a lot of the music in this game takes little pieces from existing songs it seems like.

I grew up with earthbound for the snes, played it all the time as a kid-now I play it every year. I dont fully understand why I have stuck to this game for so many years, but its clear that this is a truly great game. I have it on my nintendo DS r4ds, as well as the original cartridge and the emulation on my computer. I have played soo many games over the years only to come back to earthbound!

No, the game would need to be stable for that, and it won't be until the final patch is pretty much done anyway. There's always the menu patch though.

im wondering, and maybe this has been asked before...is it possible to upload unfinished translations patches, so we can play up to a point where its just garbled binary somethings, then we can play the game later til the rest of the patch is finished?
