This is a guitar I built in Second Life. It is a Gibson Les Paul Classic. I know one can get Gibson guitars for free in SL from Gibson themselves. However, they don't have the one I have in real life, plus I don't really like the look of the ones they build! Anyway, I basically downloaded SL simply to finish this project (which I started quite a few years ago) while I had some extra time on my hands. I think it looks pretty good! Background music is the New York Dolls' take on the Coasters' classic "Bad Detective".

@blakebarberonrunesca I don't have any plans on selling it at the moment. I have so many things going on in First Life that I don't have time for a Second Life! Hehe. Thanks for the compliments. I'll be sure to let you know if it ever become available.

How do you get the character to put there hands like there playing it?

@blakebarberonrunesca Oh, that's pretty simple. You don't need to do any code. I found an animation somewhere that does it by itself. I just had to move the guitar into the right place so it would line up with the predetermined position. I can't remember where I found the animation, but if you do a search in SL for "guitar animation" you should be able to find a free one somewhere.
