I just love how each of their songs sounds totally different and unique. You never know what you're gonna get with each one.

I'm a Catholic and I think people should be allowed to marry someone of the same sex, if that's what they want. Not everybody's gay, so there really isn't a problem of the species dying out. I figure, since God made people the way they are, He must be alright with it. He would not condemn his own children to damnation, would He? I think, extrapolating from that, Jesus would respect His father's wishes and not object to gay rights. The song, then, just doesn't strike me as disrespectful.

Feel exactly the same way. The lyrics are said in a way that would offend us Christians just the way they said those few lines about him and then the lines right after but i still like their music.

I'm christian but I like the song still, although I still think people shouldn't marry the same sex because we weren't made for that simply. Just think if everyone did like the same sex and we allowed it to be ok then nobody would be making babies and we wouldn't be here. The evolution would stop and if we make it seem OK well more children of today are gonna grow up and live like that and it will increase more and more and there will be less people born.But then again that what the gov wants2do

I'd be perfectly fine with that. Let's get the government out of religion. No marriage benefits, no tax benefits, no legal rights. It'll become nothing more than a religion pieces of paper, saying that you're 'married'. But of course, each religion would have its own say, and "gay marriage" would still be allowed. So... what's the point in throwing a hissy fit over it?

Why? Jesus preached loved. He didn't persecute people or shame them, he simply spread the word of Love. That's all this song is about. LOVE. Why would it be insulting to Christians?

May I ask why you personally don't believe in gay marriage? Is it because of your Christianity or is there a personal reason? I'm not trying to be rude or anything I've just never really met anyone who didn't believe in equality and i'm curious as to why you personally believe some people shouldn't have the same rights as others?
