The 7th Doctor is shot by a gang in San Francisco, 1999. He ends up being operated on by Dr Grace Holloway, goes into a seizure and flatlines.
In the mortuary, the Doctor regenerates into the Eighth Doctor, who rises from the gurney, disoriented and amnesiac. He finds Grace, who in his confused state latches on to her as someone he recognizes.
I couldn't resist doing this video after hearing the song used. It seemed to fit Grace perfectly, the Doctor saved her as much as she saved him.
Video isn't as perfect as wished, WMM is a pain at times!
