Words on the duplicitous nature of games played by major powers. How do these apply to the Democrats and their actions lately on immigration? How do these apply to the promises made to raza?

  • Nice one Nezua. I'm an immigration reform activists and the Dem's absolutely took activists for granted. We have to keep their feet to the fire and increase our pressure, including flexing our muscle (the Latino vote) where it counts. I think it would be good to withold the Latino vote in key districts in order to remind Democrats not to take us for granted.

The struggle continues. We have not even begun to fight. Peace, brother.

  • @wanealy Hi, thank you.

Yes, it's not just that they took activists for granted. It's that this persecutory tide they've launched in language and police affects the conversation, and helps encourage killers and racists. Just as Glenn Beck's vitriol encourages dangerous violent people. They are not just greedy, they are dangerous liars.

I agree on selective voting to show power.

    Peace, thanks again.

  • Legalize all the hard working immigrants. Stop the hate!

  • @nezua Absolutely: In fact I have been in Schumer's office up here in Upstate NY and told his representatives exactly that: the Democrats failed at immigration reform because they were too cowardly and refused to challenge the Republican framing of this issue as a "nationa security/war on terror" issue. By agreeing to demonize "illegals" and equating them with terrorists, they essentially lost the battle by giving into the fear mongering. Really pathetic governing if you ask me.

  • Obama promised a dog for his kids and they have a dog

Obama promised immigration reform and many kids lost parents

  • Excellent work, Nezua!

  • Always staying straight on point with the analysis, man.

We have blatant voter suppression going on here in Nevada. Reid talks about all he has done toward immigration reform by tallying all the militaristic attention such as the National Guard, the fence and Predator Drones! yet uses the term "undocumented".

That election was tough I had to caucus for Obama due to not reaching percentages for my choice then voted long but true to principles for Nader. McKinney didn't make it to my ballot.

  • this dude is always on point
