@africatalks I just checked Facebook, and there are a few Peter Oppongs, but I found Pa Joe on MySpace. If you look up 'Peter Oppong (Pa Joe)', you'll find him for sure on MySpace.

@africatalks I'm not very familiar with Ghana since I'm from Toronto and haven't been there, so I don't know which part Pa Joe is from, but he is on Facebook under Peter Oppong, I think, if you want to contact him. He also plays with a band called 'African Guitar Summit' here in Canada who probably have videos on YouTube. We were both also in a band after Pat, called 'Tarig Abubakar and the AfroNubians' that is also on YouTube.

I am in my mid forties and remember how I shunned my own traditional music for hard metal rock because that is what I thought will make me feel like a westerner. After 25 years of living life away from the motherland, I have finally grown to appreciate these guys better than the Led Zepellins and co. I honestly think we should stick to highlife and bring it up to international recognition. Lord, bring back music.
