Bueno, sigo pensando que es un error diagnóstico. Lo que si puede suceder es que éste cuadro evolucione hacia una angina de Ludwig si no es tratada a tiempo, eso sí lo acepto. Pero que en ésta etapa ya sea una angina de Ludwig, no me parece. Saludos cordiales.

@quirumaf1 I am not very good at Spanish. I think you are saying there is an error in the diagnosis. Symmetrical submandibular swelling involving the base of the tongue is what I go by...but am open to comments.

Esto no es una angina de ludwig, es una celulitis inframilohoidea. Ni siqueira tiene elevación de piso de boca, no babea, se ríe (lo cual es ilógico en una angina de ludwig), además que no está tomado todo el cuello de manera bilateral, como sí sucede en la angina de ludwig. Saludos.
