Origami: Christmas Tree
Designed by: Sachiko Kogure

----------
Today's origami lesson is one hundred and fifty-six in the series. Ah, the holidays are upon us. Every year it seems that the season starts a few days sooner. I don't really mind though since I love the holidays and it seems people are just a tiny bit nicer.
I personally celebrate Santa Claus (like so many in Japan do), but I will also be doing some stuff about the Christian part of Christmas. I mean no disrespect by not listing any origami for other holidays this season. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Today we will finish up a short series of trees. This last tree is a little tricky, especially at the final fold for each piece. But you have a lot of freedom in how big and tall you want your tree to be depending on how many pieces you make. This is one of my favorite origami! Happy Holidays!
