USH is famous for it's Studio Tour. The tour lasts for 45 min. This is a video of the highlights and attractions that the tram goes through. The first part of the clip shows brownstone street and the King Kong attraction, both were destoryed in a 3 alarm fire on 6/1/08. Also on this tram ride is the car display and the Flinstone's house, Flash Flood, Six Pts TX, Earthquake* ( which breaks down) and the Alpine Avalanche Ice Tunnel.

* We later found out that the guides expressed concern that the Earthquake attraction was violently shaking the trams earlier that day. They feared the trams may tip over. There was something wrong with the mechanism that jolts the tram. At their request, the jolting part was overidden and they descided to just let trams pass through so guests could still take photos.

  • Did the earthquake part breakdown and all you do is go in it goes down and leave that's it!?

  • Well Now we have a Better KING KONG in 3D!

  • @Blyan85

The psycho house and that hotel didnt burn down

  • i'm so sad to hear that such memorable parts of the studio tour burned in the fire. does anyone know if the ''Bates Motel'' recreation and the Victorian house from psycho got damaged? I have not been to Universal since 1999.

  • 2 Things

    1) 2:26 whats the "Mouse mobile" from? I've never seen or heard of it

    2) THE Fast & Furious Tram attraction was originally Bedrock?!?!?

  • 1:50 RIP Original Kong

  • Area I wish I woudl have got to see was the Prop Plaza, when we went to USH in 1981, a year after CAstle Drac opened, our tour missed both PP and the Bridge, due to mainance, as well as we broke down after exiting the ice Tunnel, took us 2 hrs to get a tow back to the loading area

  • thank you so much for keeping this! It's unfortunate that fast and the furious had to replace those awesome flintstones sets! Truly a Universal Classic...I wish they also kept the mouse mobile from uncle buck and ALL the Little rascals cars rather than the one unknown car they have now at USH.

    Thanks again...Great video!

  • damn, i miss the 90s. the studio tour is much shorter, Kong and Doc Brown are long gone, and soon backdraft and the special effects stages are being replaced by a bunch of autobots and decepticons (no offense tho, i'm a transformers fan too.)

what a difference so many years can change to USH.

  • dude i was there last summer i would of filmed it all and put it in seprate parts
