Camilo Mejia, a veteran of the Iraq war, is featured in the film, FINDING OUR VOICES. While on leave, Camilo went into hiding for 5 months and refused to return to duty in Iraq. He turned himself in at the Peace Abbey in Shearborn, MA and was subsequently jailed for 11 months by the U.S. Army. He continues to speak out against the war.

By the way, there is also now a fantastic speech posted that Camilo Mejia gave at the Socialism 2007 conference as part of a soldiers/veterans roundtable discussion. It's posted by TraprockPeaceCtr and I highly recommend it.

Thank you very much for posting this. For people who liked this, I also recommend reading Camilo Mejia's new book, _The Road from ar Ramadi_. I learned a lot and was very inspired by it.
