MX5 V8 up and running again Andy Rogers

Back on the road again with an uprated V8 3.5 Rover engine, edelbrock carbs and offenhauser manifold. Bonnet and front of car needs work still.

Pipes were a bit long, have now shortened them so it doesn't look like a wheelbarrow. Also changed the bonnet, now got a Cobra style air scoop

That is a Red Bull can, it's a cover for the coil.

It's quite a tight fit but you can get to most things. It took four attempts to get the engine back in, hopefully it's going to stay in for a while this time.

Wat Engine is that v8? bhp?

It's a Range Rover 3.5, slightly bored out, with Vitesse heads and high compression pistons and a hurricaine cam. output is an est. 215 bhp. has not been dyno'd as yet.
