I've wanted to do this on an episode for a while since seeing TheUnluckyTug02's 'Charlie & Eddie' edit, so I finally had a go with it today.
I've taken out 1:45 worth of items and rubbish that simply don't help the story line to fit the Series 8-12 time slot.
The editing is a bit choppy, and Emily's scene looks awful in my opinion, but it was either that, or a very squashed Emily. :P I may do a re-edit one of these days.

  • This is definatly better than the original.

  • @SegaMario No offense. But telling us to face facts really gets on my nerves. Not to mention that it also causes our problems to go nowhere. That it's a kid's show does NOT excuse poor writing in ANY case. PERIOD! And frankly, I feel that this something to say "period" about. And I'm not just saying that because I like Thomas. No. I may not exactly be the best writer, but even I know that these could be written better.

  • @SegaMario It was in this episode just TheFattHatt1943 edited him out to make it a season 8-12 timeline. 7 minutes :)

  • I hope the trucks do regain faces and voices in future episodes as this episode marks their only full cgi face appearances to date (if there are any other episodes, do tell).

  • @jayo1212 Too bad, kid, because that's the truth.

Kids don't really care about the writing, but mostly the "action" or whatever.

  • @SegaMario That doesn't excuse the show's piss poor writing! As the Nostalgia Critic puts it quite nicely,

"Just because [a show] is aimed for younger kids, doesn't give you an excuse not to try!" And these writers sure as hell didn't try!

  • Also, wasn't there a scene where Thomas splashes James? If not, what was the episode?

  • Why are you lot complaining about the writing? It's for all ages but mostly kids, people... KIDS.

  • I almost thought I heard Topham say "Narrator" instead of "Dairy Manager".

It's edited well. Less or no rhyming made it more enjoyable to watch

  • This episodes was horrible >.< Knowing from percy's Promise, everyone should know that mud or water with easily put out the engine's fire.
