We disturbed this big gator towards the end of the Fisheating Creek paddle. It was probably 7 plus feet long.

  • @WEINBAUER They're generally shy, However once they get in the 10-15 ft. range they do seem to investigate more boats and stuff with people around it.

  • WOW!You guys are fearless.I was getting nervous just watching this.Don't you worry that one might hit your Kayak or even flip it?

  • The poisoning of our local rivers and lakes is robbing us of our natural wildlife treasures but no one seems to be doing a damn thing about it! I'd love to see an animal like this in MO as long as it didn't try to eat me or my pets but the Truman and Ozark rivers have changed from what they were 50 years ago. When I hear stories about what we had living in the local lakes compared to the lack of wildlife that I seen around the place, I weep!

  • Get close for scale my ass!

  • thats not a alligator its a fuckin newt

  • I don't know. There aren't as many big ones as there used to be. I haven't seen a big one in many years. Most seem to be around 7feet. Probably the mercury screwing them up.

  • 7ft small gator

  • that's crazy lol. what happened after that ? did you ever see it again ? wow, that's actually kind of terrifying. glad you people are alright =). -benji
