Congressman Brian Bilbray is covered by San Diego 6, The CW, regarding the immigration debate in Washington. On December 15, 2009, Congressman Ortiz introduced an immigration reform bill that, if passed, will grant amnesty to the 12-20 million people who are illegally living in the United States. Congressman Bilbray, Chairman of the Immigration Reform Caucus, supports internal enforcement on employers who exploit illegal labor, and he does not support providing amnesty.

Claro ya se que diste todo tu esfuerzo pero ahora ya tu esfuerzo ha sido recompensado o no, ya puedes trabajar, y manejar y hacer basicamento todo. Pero yo conosco a mucha gente, mas bien estudiantes que han estado aqui por an~os, porque fueron traidos por sus padres y ahora no que son mayores de edad no pueden trabajar, estudiar, manejar,bueno no pueden hacer nada, por eso yo pienso que si deveria de haber algo aunque sea para los que tienen aqui desde ninos y que han vivido aqui toda su vida.

el proceso para llegar a este pais el costoso y muy largo y no te garantiza que te daran el permiso. no se cuenta que el dinero lo tienes y lo buscans como sea, ahora despues de tanto tiempo te dan el permiso y ahora me dicen que un ilegal tendra los mismo derechos que yo, no solo conpeire con miles de ilegales con papeles ahora si no que donde queda mi esfuerzo , crees que meresemos el mismo trato.? esa es mi queja.

i doubt about the numbers of illegal immigrant in the US that many. i believe it's about only 3 - 5 millions people

The US is already admiting over 1 million "legal" immigrants into this country every year, in spite of a 10% unemployment rate.

The open borders advocates want us to believe there is something wrong with our immigration system, and there is...Our system is much too generous!

We should be cutting back on immigration in times recession.
