It's true that we will not elect a president who tells us the truth, because although we demand it, we dislike the person delivering it and the facts. We are walking contradictions in that sense. If people elected candidates who told the truth, then Ron Paul would have been a president a long time ago.

@Mozart1220 I wasn't patronizing you, but I DO thnk you protest too much. I think you allow others to shape your opinions. You're words about Obama were the givaway. You may not watch TV (Why is another mystery) but you must listan to AM radio or read newspapers. Otherwise, where do you get your news and information?

@MonsieurMercredi I don't love Obama, nor do I love any polititian. I DO respect him. I'm dissapointed that things aren't moving forward fast enough, but as an adult I understand why. He hasn't lied about anything. You have the right to doslike anyone you choose, just be carsefuly you do it for the right reasons and not for those someone gave you.

@Mozart1220, that's what you say! I respect your right to disagree with me about Obama. As for watching FOX, I've never watched Fox. In fact, I don't watch TV at all, and I haven't in more than 8 years. Up until 2 years ago, I read every article about Obama, but I tired of his lies. As I've stated, you can love Obama, but you must allow me the right to dislike him. On the other hand, I don't need your permission to dislike Obama.

@MonsieurMercredi I think you have been watching too much Fox News. PLus if you thought ANYONE could change things overnight you are naive. Polititians cannot get elected by telling the truth. WE won't allow it. So, they tell us what we want to hear, and then do what they can when they get there. Real change takes time, and if you hate the "criminals" then VOTE. It's easier for the bad guys to get in if good people refuse to vote. Obama is doing fine.

@Mozart1220, in regards to Obama, that is exactly what I was--naive. I'd never voted in my life for anyone until I voted for Obama; he has destroyed it for me. I now know that all politicians lie regardless of their ethnicities. I won't vote for Obama again; to do so, I'd be STUPID instead of naive, because I now know that Obama is an empty suite, as many said he was while I was in a booth voting for him.

@Romeowasbleeding1 I love people who think Ron Paul (or anyone for that matter) is just going to be able to waltz in to DC and change everythig overnight. You are either very naive, very stupid or both. Real change takes TIME. It's always easier to destroy than to build. Not only that, but Pail is 78 years old! Have you seen what the presidency does to a young man? Paul wouldn't survive his first term. Better have a VP you like just as much.
