Just to clarify: the bridge is NOT moving, that's LAND moving on the water.

The Panama canal was overflowing so they opened the flood gates in the Chagres' damn.

This is real, I know the people who filmed this and I live near to were this happened, we've had next to non stop rain(Execpt suprisingly the last two weekedns) and the way its' going it's not getting any better.

It's supposed to be dry season right now, what the heck is going on?

@danielngho listen Panama is located in Central America (its in the middle of North America and South America)its a subcontinent and you are not the only americans, its also south america, Canada and Central America

@wynn003 wow u hit a piñata, whats the point of that video? oh right ur bday, not that big a deal. the Panama Canal was closed down, 35% of the income of the country had to be shut down for a while due to the flooding, this is a sample of what was going on, its historical.

@halfthrottle the mass of vegetation seen in the video is the fresh water equivalent of seaweed. the plant floats on the water and is barely tethered to the ground. it grows up the river and the large amounts of water released by the ACP caused the roots to come out of the ground sending masses that have been growing and tangling for long enough to sustain medium sized trees down the river into the canal

@TheSicknessSwine In the newspaper they mentioned this video and said what we are seeing here is a huge build up of trash. Over the years plants started to grow on trash in the lake, and during the floods the island broke loose.

If it were land I'm pretty sure it would would just sink. You could call this, "Coke Bottle Island."
