Eva Ottosson is to become the first woman in the world to have her womb transplanted into her daughter.
Mrs Ottosson has agreed to take part in the groundbreaking medical procedure that would see her donate her uterus.
Doctors hope that if successful, 25-year-old Sara, who was born without reproductive organs, could become pregnant and carry her child in the same womb that she herself was carried in.

First, the daughter was in the uterus, then the uterus was in the daughter. The circle of life is complete. There is, however, an easier solution. The husband of the daughter could just drop a load in his mother in law and save everyone the trouble of part swapping.

Yes it does have high risks but, the failure that occurred in saudi arabia was because the donor wasn't related to the recipient. This mother shares more or less half of her daughters DNA, organ failure is therefore much less likely. But either way there are still risks of pathogens and other external microbes to make it's way into the womb<< now that would be pretty bad.
PS. the daughter is actually quite lucky, she doesn't have to use contraception during sex. I envy her.
