Paducah Ky. Ice Storm Part 2 2009

This was a ice storm to remember,on tuesday night Jan.27,2009,it was the strangest icestorm ever.The freezing rain just kept coming along with lightning.Trees & Electric lines had no chance .It was as time was going to end. Morning did come to a powerless city, along with many more cities. It was totally unreal. Things are looking better now. We have a great country and town planners that our making things much better. I Love America.

3 weeks without power. No generator.

Thanks for comment, I started preparing the day before ice storm,with fuel,food generater,and kerosine heater.I was very lucky.Power was off a week.

i live in taylor county and we got pounded. it ooks like a tornado has came and ripped apart our trees

Trust me. i live in paducah, but caldwell county got the worst of it. it was horendes. i have a farm in caldwell county, and we're still cleaning stuff up, and not near finished.

had a ice storm last winter, it was something like that here in NY. crazy time it was worst in some places like that then others. lucky we still had power. some places where out power for 2 months. crazy .

that was a very good experience. I live by lourdes hospital and we where out of power for 3 weeks. My birthday was during then so my present was a chainsaw haha.

Hahaha. I live in Marshall and they said we got hit the worse. They also said Lyon got hit the worse....and Graves, Calloway, and McCracken. Our news sucks. They want everyone to have their own sob story
